This hotel is just opposite Hull New Theatre in quiet, leafy Kingston Square. Its bright and elegant rooms offer free Wi-Fi and private bathrooms, just 5 minutes’ walk from Hull’s vibrant centre. The hotel is very comfortable, and very welcoming. I have never stayed in a place with such a friendly and supportive team. Our room was clean and comfortable, much larger than our bedroom at home. Similarly the bathroom. We had breakfast each morning which was served cheerfully. The choice of options is very good, they make excellent poached eggs. We had an evening meal in the restaurant on three occasions, the food is flavourful and well presented. Portions are generous. It is an excellent location for the theatre, only yards away, and an easy walk to the centre of the city. Gary and his staff are what really makes the difference. They are so helpful and accommodating.

Had a very warm welcome from the owner who goes above and beyond to ensure her guests are happy! The room was beautifully furnished, very comfortable and the bathroom was gorgeous. All very recently refurbished and spotless. Had a lovely dinner even though the restaurant was closed to the public, and breakfast was delicious and made from quality ingredients. Will stay there again if I'm in the area!
