Breakfast at the pool was good, too. The lodge is actually even nicer in reality than shown in the photos. We needed about 35min. by car to get to the airport. We would return any time.

The manager and staff were exemplary. The cleanliness impeccable. I met one of the maintenance staff who was meticulously wiping the leaves of one of the plants with such care who said, ‘yes, it’s a lot of work but it makes them look beautiful, no?’ And I thought this was a good example of the ethos of the hotel. Special thanks to manager Marcos, for helping to make my stay south a pleasure.

We ordered the typical breakfast (gallo pinto, eggs, etc); it was delicious and sufficient in size. It was also served with fresh tropical fruit and good coffee.
