The room was clean, comfortable and exactly same as photos. Owners are so kind and supportive. They don’t use English but you can get English support from their supporter Carol, so communication was smooth. And their dog is sooo adorable:)) Definitely you will get great experience here!!

Not much different to any other 2nd Tier city in China.
Not much different to any other 2nd Tier city in China. There are parks, a few old buildings/temples with sections of the old city wall. A couple of pedestrian streets. Pretty much the same as every other Chinese city. Perfectly fine to spend a couple of days trying Hunan food, walking the parks, looking at monuments.

The local food tends to be very spicy but I like them a lot! There are a few Dishes in traditional Hunan Cuisine restaurant you should try: 1. 剁椒鱼头 Duo jiao yu tou: steamed big fish head covered with preserved chillies, veeeery hot. 2. 手撕包菜 Shou si bao cai: fried cabbages with vineger. If you are a street food hunter, try to walk around the universities area. In Tianma area, where students from Hunan university and Hunan Normal university live there, there are many different street food. Barbecue is highly recommended! the best ever had. I enjoyed Yuelu mountain a lot. The air quality there is good. The Yuelu Academy is very much recommended. It is very beautiful and historical significant, but you had better to be with a guide. The Juzi island is not recommended. It is completely modern garden and full of people. Walking around is very exhausted. I have been to Shangsha museum, it is quite impressive as well.

The staff went out of their way to ensure that everything went smoothly during the stay. In particular, Chen Qiu Feng (Amy) was invaluable in facilitating the reservation and payment, and in making the time at World Hotel Jiaxing Hunan (in Changsha) an amazing experience. She is a gem, as is the hotel.

Peipei was a very helpful host and was able to get us discounts for park tickets as well as much needed transportation advice and travel recommendations. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The property is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The view is amazing. The host is lovely and the restaurant food was delicious. The location is within walking distance of the national park but still quiet and peaceful.
