We always spoke with the staff and went to Gros Islet with some of them a few nights! All of the recommendations we had outside of our itinerary were excellent. Cleanliness/Room: The hotel was always spotless as was our room was when we arrived. We had the king room with a balcony. The bed is absolutely massive (probably the size of 2 queen beds next to each other) and very comfortable. They would service our room without us asking. Amenities: we were given towels everyday for the beach and there’s a healthy breakfast provided with add ons if you want! Location: excellent location, really close to big shopping centres and great restaurants. Sol sanctum organised taxis for us and there’s natural beauty and landmarks nearby.

Situated in West End Tortola, Long Bay Beach Resort features a restaurant. Among the various facilities of this property are a bar and a garden. All rooms include a balcony. We liked it all! The location right on a beautiful white sandy beach. Waking up to a view of paradise. The lovely decorated beach house. A rain shower with sufficient water pressure. The delicious food at the restaurant. The treatments at the newly opened spa. The sweetest hotel cat that spent the night on our bed. It was all amazing and we hope to return!

Very good location in an upcoming part of Willemstad, within walking distance to all the main sights in the town, and close to both bus terminals. The room was very comfortable, with all the amenities that we might have needed (though the private bathroom was separate and not ensuite). Access to shared kitchen and a coffee/tea making machine available 24/7 was a nice bonus. Excellent breakfast on the terrace. Very helpful owners who arranged everything we needed (airport transfers, a boat trip to Klein Curacao etc). Most of all, welcoming atmosphere and genuine local spirit. Not everything was perfect, but we felt a part of the place and it was natural to blend in the local environment.
