At Colony Suites every room has bed linen and towels. Lovely large place that was very clean with nice furniture. The kitchen was huge and well stocked. The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds. Located on 4 acres of beach front property, this Alaska motel offers guest rooms with panoramic views of the local mountains, glaciers and beaches. BBQ facilities are located on-site. Homer town centre is 8 minutes’ walk away. The hotel has great location, We could walk down, just a few meters to the beach. The room was large with a balcony and a lovely view of the mountains. It was clean, the bed comfortable and friendly staff. Parking was fine. There were laundry machines very near, that helped us too Thanks to the owner who gave us some good local tips.

It is close to the Denali NP that we drove into the park one evening (10 pm) when the sky was clear. And we saw the beautiful mountain. Quiet surrounding. We saw a moose one morning!
