This is just an awesome place. I've not stayed at a better motel. Very nice rooms, very clean, and lots of great attention to details. So glade we booked this place. What a fine!

Arcadia Motel is situated just 3 minutes’ walk from Tahunanui Beach. It has a solar-heated swimming pool and rooms with well-equipped kitchens. WiFi access is free. We were lucky to find this at short notice and what a gem. Room was perfect and facilities were spot on. The manager / owner was very friendly and informative for our travels in the South Island.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, best stay in our past 7d in NZ. The place was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Great tv, cooking equipment and heated bed as well. 100% worthy of being one of the top rated motels in NZ.

Chelsea Park Motor Lodge offers luxuriously appointed rooms with free unlimited Wi-Fi, just 5 minutes' walk from the centre of Nelson. Staff were so friendly! I told the owners we were off to the beach and they offered us beach towels and a beach umbrella! really appreciated them taking that extra step in customer service. super clean too 👍

Waimarie on Riverside Motel & Apartments is set in the heart of the Nelson city centre, 500 metres from Trafalgar Park. Free WiFi is provided and free private parking is available on site. Excellent location, very clean and comfortable. Stayed in No. 5 apartment for one night. Pity no more time for a longer stay. Definitely recommend.

We were given a free upgrade to an access room on the ground floor. Huge rooms and very well appointed. Bathroom had spa bath. Kitchen had everything and a full sized fridge. Beds were super comfy and I even liked the pillows :) Great location for walking along the river or up to the "Centre of NZ" as well as several other walks. 5 minutes to Countdown. Didn't actually walk into the city centre, but I know it was close as was the Suter Gallery and Queens Gardens. Fabulous hotel, great location.
