We wanted to find somewhere decently priced for a weekend trip to Mt Snow, and Viking had all we needed - hot shower, working heater, and just across the street from Shaw’s and the Moover bus service to the slopes. What made a huge difference though: The morning of our departure we misunderstood the Moover bus schedule back to Brattleboro for our once-daily Amtrak and THANK GOD the owners’ daughter, who was visiting, offered to make the 1.5 there and back drive for us out of the goodness of her heart. We really couldn’t be more thankful - we tried Uber, local taxi services etc and they were all unavailable.
