Looking for a motel?

Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.

Location in Tahoe City with walking distance to lake and restaurants. Short drive to Alpine Meadows & Palisades or Transit Center to pick up TART (although we snagged last minute parking reservations). Extra parking in back of building. Call ahead if you are going to check in late so they can set up a lock box. Excellent wifi if you need to work remotely. Long desk in room for work needs. Much better condition than Best Value down the road and with bigger room. They've clearly put in effort to paint & remodel bathroom.

Really nice upgrade to an old Tahoe motel building. Thoughtful design & very nice choice of decor and catering options. Definitely worth trying

Old rooms but clean and comfortable enough. Good location right on the lake and close drive to Palisades/Alpine. The continental breakfast was super limited - only some poor coffee, bananas apples and questionable packaged pastry. The breakfast also wasn’t out the second day we stayed. For being a budget motel we were satisfied with our stay!

It is a small lovely hotel with warm and homelike ambiance. I ordered around Chirstmas and the price seems to indicate it was a motel, but it was not. All the appliances are working properly. No smells, no inconvenience, no deficiency. Everything is very pleasant.

Great location, it would not have been my first choice as it’s initially a road side motel, but it’s not, its a trendy central location base with great staff. The main lady behind the desk in the evenings was a god send with information. It was a shame we never asked her name as we could give her a personal mention.

Quaint little motel in a perfect location to visit Lake Tahoe. Room was clean, staff was friendly, checkout was simple. We couldn't have asked for a better spot, and value was unmatched!

Management and staff were wonderful. Location perfect & price expensive but more reasonable compared with other motels in the area.
