On the positive side of things, we didn't encounter any roaches or bed bugs like mentioned in the other reviews. However, that should be more of a prerequesite than a positive aspect if you ask me. While the pillows again were absolutely filthy and had stains all over them, the sheets seemed to be alright to sleep in.

It's a bit weird since your basically sleeping the basement next to the very cute elderly couple who manages it. I do not know if they speak English but I was amused seeing them cook outside from our window.
