As soon as we arrived we were greeting by the employee to check us in. She was so friendly and nice. She interacted well with our son which was the reason we were on the trip for his birthday. We are from Kentucky and have stayed in alot of hotels along the way and we will definitely recommend your place over other places we have stayed just for the friendliness of your staff.

large room and great location. The water was nice and warm for my shower. This motel is a flash from the past. A clean and cozy motel that fits the budget traveler perfect in this area. We were there when it was only 45 degrees. Each room ( room 11 has 3 rooms) had its own heater. We were nice and warm inside.

Great staff that were very helpful. Nice to have a Micro and small refrigerator in room. Great bed, nice towels, and the water was hot. This is an older motel that has been refreshed. Still maintains a quaint charm in a location close to restaurants and grocery.

Excellent motel. Friendly staff. The room was very clean and we had covered parking! There is a sauna and a greenhouse room and a large fire pit with endless wood to burn. Bicycles were available. Beds were comfortable. On a side street in town so quiet and cozy, and easy walks to restaurants. Very short drive to Pictured rocks Park and beaches. We will come back!

It's located right on a grassy patch on the shore of Lake Superior. There were two older-style rooms in our unit, a traditional pull-your car-in front of your window motel unit - nice to have a bit of separation from each other. There were some basic freebies (danish, OJ, coffee etc) in the hotel office that can get you going until (or instead of) your breakfast in nearby Munising.

Breakfast was standard for a small hotel with continental breakfast. Nice location and view-we purposely looked for something with a decent location and fair price so we knew we weren't going to be going to the nicest, best hotel in town. We were there just for the night to do a quick boat tour and then go back on our way. Super friendly welcoming staff. Outdoor look of the overall motel was nice too.

The bed was firm and very comfortable . The whole unit was very clean and fresh painted. Even though there were many visitors and the motel was on a busy street, the unit was quite quiet. The attendant at the front desk was pleasant, professional, helpful. (she even went out of her way to find me a fan), as the rooms' fresh air cross ventilation was minimal and the AC's filter was clogged.

The location is out of this world. The Motel is located RIGHT off of Superior, you need only look out your front door to see the water. The rooms were large and there were ample blankets/towels provided for comfort.

I stayed in the room with a private balcony and absolutely loved it. It has a fantastic view of the sunset per the name of the motel and it was so nice that it was kind of off in it’s own corner. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. I think the value of having a room with a king sized bed and private balcony was well worth what I paid for it!
