Fairly easy check-in process, the room was really lovely and the location just how we expected it. The laundry room was also amazing as we were on a 3-week trip.

Cozy little motel that is affordable in the Tahoe area! We stay here to go skiing at Palisades. Fast WiFi, great heating (during the cold winters), great shower, updated bathrooms, easy parking, near the lake - love it!

The hotel was super cute and location was great (walking distance to Kings Beach and next to lots of nice restaurants). Room and bathroom were large and cleaning standard was decent. Staff was nice. There was free parking (although somehow limited for the size of the hotel).

The continental breakfast next door was tasty, a bit pricey for what we were accustomed to. We didn't stay at the motel location long enough to recognize the beauty of the location, pool & spa--awesome! Too much in Tahoe to experience but we wish we could have used Crown Motel's facilities more--maybe next time!

This down to earth motel was built in 1958 and recently renovated - a gem right at the Lake Tahoe shore. Rooms have a fridge, coffeemaker, microwave and TV (which has FireTV. Get a room as close to the lake as possible. There is a clean pool and hot tub, shared decks with grills and fire tables and the most beautiful view that you can find around the lake. The staff treated us like family, a minor window screen repair was done within minutes, everyone was super nice! We didn’t want to leave the deck 😎An unforgettable vacation!

I rented a "SUPERIOR" King Bed room in the Summer. This motel has everything a 3* Motel normally has, except perhaps, an attached restaurant. I definitely would consider this a 3* . Located right on the beach/lake, it has a pool, a viewing deck, hot tub, pvt. beach, a shared lounge...all in excellent condition. The room had A.C, a TV, Kitchette with burners plus Microwave, Refrigerator, and Coffee-maker; the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely rent a room here again.

I don't like to give out my best addresses, but this hotel is one of them. It's really well placed, free parking, really comfortable rooms, access to the private beach, sun loungers on the beach (free), barbecues... really great!

The location is prime. Do not expect anything fancy from your room. While they have done a good job cleaning it up, the motel is still older.
