The room I got was a one-bed housekeeping room, with a living area and kitchenette separate from the bedroom. The Diplomat is an older motel that has been freshened up, so it is clean and freshly painted. The bathroom is clean, with a newer higher toilet and perfectly adequate tub/shower. Definitely good value for money. An easy, fifteen minute drive to the Duke-Point to Tsawassen ferry.

My original room was in the back of the motel down a thin walkway and my Spidey sense was activated and was able to change rooms that felt safer for a single person traveling on her own. I guess I’m supposed to say what I liked in this square. The maids sorted recycle etc. right outside the room and I found that noisy and a bit irritating.
