The hosts were very kind to us, they gave us good local recommendations and even lent us snow shoes to take a walk in the surroundings. The pool and hot tub are wonderful after a day of skiing. Breakfast is DELICIOUS. Highly recommended hotel!

A stovetop and toaster are also offered, as well as a coffee machine. We had just moved to Colorado and needed a place for a few days before moving to our apartment in Denver. We wanted to stay close to nature and these cabins are just that! Literally with the creek across our porch, we watch the winter come and the snow set at a beautiful scenery! We loved it there! Place was very clean, water from the shower super warm and staff very nice! NOTE ABOUT WORKING FROM THERE: My husband and I had to work while there, Wi-Fi was more than sufficient for both of us having video calls at the same time. NOTE ABOUT LOCATION: We did not have a car, so walked back and forth from the little center/market/restaurants etc. Its definitely doable, but for you to get the best out of the area, we recommend you go with a car. BONUS: Our little dog was with us, he had a great time playing with the owners dogs as well.

Location great for Rocky mOUNTAIN National Park. Resort is stunning, on the river. we had the Mills room and it was fantastic. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Staff was great at check in.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location with a very nice restarurant on site. Staff were exceptional - I have special contact lenses and lost a lens down the sink. The maintenance team helped me search and even removed the sink u-bend! Alas the lens was lost but I was amazed by the customer care.

This family-owned Aspen lodge is a non-smoking property. Free parking is available on site. This place was beyond expectations :). The staff is super nice, it was great to listen to the old Aspen stories. The place with unique atmosphere and a very decent price for Aspen. I was a bit afraid of the traffic noise, but it did not bother.

Castle Mountain Lodge offers a sun terrace. The room and property was very clean and beautiful. The lights driving in made the stay that more magical. Aaron was wonderful, very kind. He made sure we knew about the property and all the extra goodies like movies, and cinnamon rolls in the morning. We enjoyed the room and amenities. We will be back!

Wolf Creek Ski Resort is 24 km from the lodge. The nearest airport is San Luis Valley Regional Airport, 83 km from Riverbend Resort. View was excellent. Price was fair and the hummingbirds were very entertaining.
