Check in: Thomas the owner who oversees things personally, was kind enough to arrange for an early check in despite the short notice. He’s easygoing and friendly to deal with. Easy and straightforward process. They accept cards without giving you the looks (many properties in Jambiani don’t happily accept cards). You can use Apple Pay or Samsung Pay. The place itself: this is a brand new building with great finishing. The owner takes pride in his trees and the villa is surrounded by greenery inside it. There’s a pool, kitchen with a big new fridge for guests to store food, shower facilities next to the pool. There’s also a terrace upstairs with huge area for people who wanna have some privacy or do calls or just relax. It offers a nice 360 view of the village on all sides. The rooms: the rooms are quite modern and they are practically designed and equipped with everything you want. The ac was working perfectly and it was a relief in hot afternoons and nights (many properties don’t have ac or it doesn’t work). Really comfy beds (probably the best bed and mattresses I slept on in Zanzibar), a safe which is quite handy, a little desk if you have work, big washroom with great water pressure, everything in the room was brand new and working fine. The internet: I had couple of meetings and was suffering from the poor internet in other proper I. The wifi really saved me. The experience: the owner who was also staying at the property is warm and makes sure to check in on you and see if you need anything (the stay itself, directions, restaurant recommendations, etc.

The property was nearby the main road, spacious and everything was good. There is hotwater. The owner was really nice and make your stay perfect. The breakfast was big and tasty. I recommend this property. Also there is a swimming pool.

The beautiful garden and pool allow you to get lost in plenty of spaces in the shade or the sun. I would recommend anyone to go here to enjoy the sunshine, atmosphere and hospitality of Kingstone lodge.

With pool views, Mkeka Spice Lodge Jambiani is situated in Jambiani and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Abu and Lucky were the friendliest people we met during our stay, we felt like home. You need anything, and the staff will help you! The place is really not far from the beach, and there is a nice swimming pool in case of low tide. You can also play pool and have some cold beers. The breakfast is giant :)
