Firstly - if you can't live without Wifi, then you'd be best just to stay at home - this is not what Reindeer Lodge is about. If you're after 5 star accommodation, then find somewhere else because staff are not here to be at your personal beck and call. Staff at Reindeer Lodge are amazing - we always felt welcome and part of the family. Our room, although small, was very cosy and clean. To keep the park an authentic experience, there are 2 communal (very clean) toilets, as well as a communal shower and wood fired sauna. When leaving, you are asked to strip your beds fold your bedding and put your bedding and pillows on the lounge to make room turnover quicker for staff. As well as looking after the rooms, staff are also responsible for looking after the reindeer, preparing meals for guests and working at the Saami / Reindeer village at Jukkasjarvi. Staff work long hours and very hard. Breakfast was a really nice Scandinavian style Smorgas, it was great to be able to go in and feed and interact with the reindeer - let them come to you... You can also borrow some cross country skis or snow shoes to go for a walk on the lake. Reindeer Lodge is about a 5-10 minute drive from Jukkasjarvi and a good alternative to the Icehotel. We recommend staying at Reindeer Lodge.

The view was absolutely amazing! Our stay was so relaxing. Communication was fantastic and Stefan was a wonderful host! So glad this was our home base for the time we spent in Jukkasjärvi.

Everything was as promised and local beach was peaceful and clean. We loved everything about this place and its surroundings. Great place for both one night stayover or for longer holiday.

The location is amazing on the top of a snowfield. We had it all to ourselves, and we could see the fireworks in the city from the comfy bed. The sauna was an amazing experience and perfect for some relaxation Everything was very well organised and the staff were very helpful. I couldn’t recommend this place and more for a real winter escape

Evert little interior detail seemed to be considered thoughtfully! Fully equipped kitchen! The cozy sauna! Everything is newly renovated with old beautiful details kept.

Very very clean and tidy. Lovely views for relaxing. A good weekend to de-stress before back to work at nearby Lulea. Would happily go back to see the stars hopefully. Very friendly hosts and good communication by 'phone.

Set in Jerfojaur in the Norrbotten Region, 41 km from Arvidsjaur, Myrkulla Lodge features a barbecue and sauna. Free private parking is available on site. All units feature a seating area. Small but clean hut, comfortable beds, clean and new mattress and pillows. Well working shower and toilet. Hot water available for shower.

A last minute change of plan meant we stayed for a few days at Årrenjarka mountain lodge for a summer break and we absolutely loved it. The staff were very helpful with allowing us to check in at a convenient time and helped us find new trekking routes. The silence of the area was pure joy. We hope to return for a winter break.

Located along the Kungsleden trail, this accommodation is only accessible by hiking or skiing, 5.5 km west of Nikkaluokta. Location and interior and cleanliness

Offering rooms with a lake view and modern furnishings, this property is 22 km from Kiruna and 35 minutes’ drive from Nikkaluokta. It features a cosy, bookable restaurant cabin with a personal chef. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.
