Situated 23 km from Kiruna Train Station, Reindeer Lodge features accommodation with a garden, a bar and a shared kitchen for your convenience. Firstly - if you can't live without Wifi, then you'd be best just to stay at home - this is not what Reindeer Lodge is about. If you're after 5 star accommodation, then find somewhere else because staff are not here to be at your personal beck and call. Staff at Reindeer Lodge are amazing - we always felt welcome and part of the family. Our room, although small, was very cosy and clean. To keep the park an authentic experience, there are 2 communal (very clean) toilets, as well as a communal shower and wood fired sauna. When leaving, you are asked to strip your beds fold your bedding and put your bedding and pillows on the lounge to make room turnover quicker for staff. As well as looking after the rooms, staff are also responsible for looking after the reindeer, preparing meals for guests and working at the Saami / Reindeer village at Jukkasjarvi. Staff work long hours and very hard. Breakfast was a really nice Scandinavian style Smorgas, it was great to be able to go in and feed and interact with the reindeer - let them come to you... You can also borrow some cross country skis or snow shoes to go for a walk on the lake. Reindeer Lodge is about a 5-10 minute drive from Jukkasjarvi and a good alternative to the Icehotel. We recommend staying at Reindeer Lodge.

Set in Jukkasjärvi, Camp Caroli offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Excellent location on the lake that you take the snowmobiles directly from. Sauna and fire outside above the arctic circle was the best. Cannot recommend staying here for a northern Sweden adventure more highly.

Situated in Karungi, Ida's Stuga offers accommodation with a patio. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the property and private parking is available on site. Everything was as promised and local beach was peaceful and clean. We loved everything about this place and its surroundings. Great place for both one night stayover or for longer holiday.

Set in Piteå, 8.9 km from Piteå Bus Station, Northern Lodges offers accommodation with a terrace, free WiFi and a concierge service. This was the perfect winter wonderland getaway over new years. The location is amazing on the top of a snowfield. We had it all to ourselves, and we could see the fireworks in the city from the comfy bed. The sauna was an amazing experience and perfect for some relaxation Everything was very well organised and the staff were very helpful. I couldn’t recommend this place and more for a real winter escape

Located in Älvsbyn in the Norrbotten region and Storforsen reachable within 43 km, Skatauddens Lantgård provides accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, a garden and free private... It was a beautiful cottage with all we needed. Beatrice and Erik was very friendly! All was perfekt, we will come back ! thankfully for these great time in Sweden.

Set in Jerfojaur in the Norrbotten Region, 41 km from Arvidsjaur, Myrkulla Lodge features a barbecue and sauna. Free private parking is available on site. All units feature a seating area. In the woods and quite amazing.

Located in Kvikkjokk, Årrenjarka Mountain Lodge offers accommodation with a terrace or a patio, free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a restaurant and a bar. A last minute change of plan meant we stayed for a few days at Årrenjarka mountain lodge for a summer break and we absolutely loved it. The staff were very helpful with allowing us to check in at a convenient time and helped us find new trekking routes. The silence of the area was pure joy. We hope to return for a winter break.

Located along the Kungsleden trail, this accommodation is only accessible by hiking or skiing, 5.5 km west of Nikkaluokta. Un lloc fantàstic on reposar després de fer sis etapes del Kungsleden trail. L'Andreas molt amble i el dinner box que ens van preparar boníssim!

Offering rooms with a lake view and modern furnishings, this property is 22 km from Kiruna and 35 minutes’ drive from Nikkaluokta. It features a cosy, bookable restaurant cabin with a personal chef. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.
