Located on 3000 acres of land opposite Ocean Beach, Wharekauhau Country Estate boasts a day spa, a tennis court and an outdoor pool. We felt absolutely spoiled. We were welcomed with open arms. The staff were outstanding, informatve and very friendly. Although the dinner menu was very limited the quality was 5 star. Accommodation was absolutely immaculate and so comfortable. Will definitely be back even though it was a bit pricey.

Situated on a quiet hillside, Harbour Lodge features an indoor swimming pool, spa pool and sauna. The large guest lounge features an open fire and sweeping views of Wellington Harbour. We loved Harbour Lodge. The personal friendly service with a beautiful view from every room was fantastic. Our hosts were helpful each morning at breakfast with tips and recommendations. Plenty of parking available. 10/10 customer service! The receptionist was delightful. Shower pressure was powerful. Everything was clean and well stocked. Amazing service that I can’t fault anything. Also upgraded for free too. Amazing restaurants (pho viet best Vietnamese Ive ever had!) supermarket and bus stops are a short walk away
