Ruapehu Country Lodge is located within a 15-minute drive of Tongariro National Park, home of the world-renowned Tongariro Crossing. Free Wi-Fi access is available in this lodge. Breakfast was great - hand built to order with a lot of fresh and homemade ingredients. Sauna really helped after a day on the mountain. Grounds are beautiful and relaxing. Loved the sheep and alpacas.

Plateau Lodge is located 15 minutes’ drive from UNESCO World Heritage listed Tongariro National Park, where guests can enjoy skiing, hiking, cycling and paddling activities. Everything ❤️ We had an amazing stay, staff let us check in earlier which was helpful as the weather was not nice to go on the crossing 😅 Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Also kitchen and lodge was cozy and nice to hang out on a rainy day.

Offering a barbecue and views of the mountain, Pukenui Lodge is situated in National Park in the Manawatu Region. Turangi is 41 km from the property. The room was small but excellent, the shared kitchen and dinning was a bonus and very well equipt. The views from the room and the balcony of the lounge were breathtaking

Featuring amazing views of Mt Ruapehu, 2 hot tubs and a restaurant with a large deck area, Kings Ohakune is 2 minutes’ walk from Ohakune Station and 3 minutes' walk from the start of the Ohakune... Perfect location. Clean and tidy rooms. Nice and warm. The heater was already on for our arrival. Everything you need for a nice stay. Staff were so helpful and welcoming. Couldn't of asked for anything more!! The spa pools were fantastic!!

Featuring a guest lounge with a fireplace, Howard’s Lodge is located in National Park Village, less than 15 km away from Mount Ruapehu. Free WiFi is included. Been waiting for quite a while for check-in which was frustrating. The room is comfortable with unexpectedly larger than i thought which is a bonus. Shower with good water pressure.
