Located in Hanmer Springs in the Canterbury region, Hanmer High Country Views provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. We liked being out of town in peaceful countryside . There were enormous sliding windows opening on to a terrace with outdoor furniture. The view from the accommodation was a magnificent range of mountains.

With mountain views, Milford Sound Lodge is located in Milford Sound and has a restaurant, room service, bar and garden. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. the villa we stayed it was exquisitely designed, it was like living in a magazine setup. everything was near perfect. witnessing the aurora australis was just the icing on the cake.

With mountain views, Benger Garden Chalets is located in Millers Flat and has a restaurant, room service, snack bar, garden, terrace and barbecue. What a lovely little oasis. The staff were super friendly and the outside tub was great on a cold wet evening to warm up!

Offering mountain views, Pukaki Air Lodge in Twizel offers accommodation, barbecue facilities, a terrace and a shared lounge. Complimentary WiFi is available. It was one of the most unique and comfortable places we stayed at in New Zealand. Only wish we had more time to spend there.

Situated in Tuatapere Southland, Papatotara, The Cliffs Seaside Lodge provides accommodation a walkway with direct access to the beach. The stay was fantastic, I was very impressed by the property, the beautiful rooms and the views, vegetations around. Short walk to a beautiful sandy beach, which you can have by yourself, nobody was around, just you and nature. Larissa and Tom were the best hosts I have had for a long time, nowadays you often don't even meet the persons you are staying at. But Tom and Larissa were the true and very kind and friendly faces of the Cliffs Lodge, they went beyond to make every guest happy and satisfied! I took both dinner and breakfast, which Larissa preopared and was the best meals during my entire trip to New Zealand. This place is a gem and will be a great success for sure and is an accommodation made with heart! Thank you for having me, I am very lucky to have found this accommodation!

Tasman Sea Retreat features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Punakaiki, 2.5 km from Fox River Beach. The accommodation has a spa bath. Warm and cozy house, nice design, Patrick & Joe have good taste at furnitures. We actually arrive late and miss the sunset at night, however when we wake up in the morning and open the door, omg worth it! Breathtaking sea view with bird song, also the SPA pool with just perfect water temperature, what a morning!

Situated in Marahau, 38 km from Nelson, Abel Tasman Lodge features a hot tub and sauna. Abel Tasman National Park is within a 5-minute walk from the property. Beautiful clean unit and they even made up the bed when we were out.

Set 2.5 km from Tapu Bay Beach, Eden's Edge Lodge offers accommodation with a shared lounge, a garden and a shared kitchen for your convenience. Our stay at Eden's Edge Lodge was amazing. The B&B is surrounded by beautiful gardens, and a highlight was watching the sunset from the terrace. Had a wonderful "help yourself" breakfast, with fresh eggs from the hosts' chickens, fresh milk, freshly made scones and muffins. There were also juices, bread, yoghurt and cereals. The kitchen has everything you need, and you can even chop fresh herbs from their garden for your meals. The place has its own little cinema with Netflix and many, many DVDs, and an arcade machine from the 90s with 2500 different games. Also they have cute, and social cats! This was without doubt the best accommodation we had during our 3 weeks road trip through both North and South Island, we felt very welcomed by the hosts and so relaxed in the amazing nature around this place. I hope to go back some time in the future and stay many more days.

At The Ghost Lodge, 2 sets of French doors open out to a sunny deck that has sea views and a spa pool. The place is beautiful, cleanest I've seen & the owners are absolutely fantastic. You could never go wrong with the hot tubs & sauna, its a must stay place & I will certainly be going back.
