He was very responsive to our messages as well - a lovely host who gave us so many local tips and tricks. We will be coming back again! Highly recommend this unique spot, perfect for couples!

Not only the place was beautiful, but the owner was so kind and helpful! The tui lodge is definitely one of the best places we have stayed so far. Simple, clean, quiet, affordable. Although the place has quite a few rooms, it never felt busy. You have 2 kitchens and several toilets around the area. It never gave me the "hostel impresion". Frances has a beautiful dog too! Her name is Nala, we love heeer! During a rainy day she also gave us some recommendations to hand around and to eat.. great!!!!
