10 km from Alta City and 500 metres from Alta River lies Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel. Surrounded by forest, the location offers good hiking, skiing and biking trails straight from the cottage door. There is both free WiFi and free on-site parking. This vacation was a once in a lifetime experience. The location was perfect to see the northern lights, the restaurant served food of the quality of a Michelin star restaurant, and the staff was extremely friendly. Even though the location was quite remote, there were plenty of activities to do. PS: it is also a great place to propose to your girlfriend - a guaranteed YES (from personal experience) :)

The cabins are clean, comfortable and warm. We enjoyed the dinner in lavvu. The meal was tasty. The staff was very friendly.

Guests at the lodge can enjoy skiing and cycling nearby, or make the most of the garden. Very nice view to the sea and village. There were also many animals, what was nice to watch, example sheeps, reindeer, fox. The cabin was nice and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

After a day of hiking, skiing or fishing, guests can relax in the garden or in the shared lounge area. Excellent location for hiking to Segla and Hesten as well as visiting other sites in Senja. We stayed for 3 nights and everything worked well. The place is super clean and spacious. the kitchen is well equipped. The hosts are friendly and helpful. We’d definitely stay here again if return to Senja.
