With mountain views, Aurora Fjord Cabins is set in Lyngseidet and has free WiFi. One of the best properties I have ever stayed. The cabins are overlooking the fjords and offers uninterrupted views. On clear days it can be spectacular. Kitchenette was well equipped with burner, oven, chimney & kettle. A perfect getaway in the tranquility of nature.

With mountain views, Bjørnfjell Mountain Lodge is set in Alta and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden and terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Fantastic location and we were lucky enough to have spectacular views of aurora borealis. We stayed in a lodge; this was a good size, really comfortable and it was nice to put a log fire on. Breakfast and meals were served in the main building... slippers provided. Staff were helpful and friendly, doing some extra 'gritting' on the path to make it easier to get luggage to the lodge.

10 km from Alta City and 500 metres from Alta River lies Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel. Surrounded by forest, the location offers good hiking, skiing and biking trails straight from the cottage door. We stayed in the the Elva cabin which was delightful- cozy, comfortable, spacious and well thought out. the expansive windows gave us a relaxing view into the forest and the thrill of seeing dogs run by from time to time. Upstairs was a lovely nook. We ate every dinner on site (country style x2, fine dining x1) and the quality of food and service was exceptional. Really top notch. Johnny (Trasti) is highly visible and involved and really cares about his guests and makes everyone feel valued. Breakfast was great and lasted until 10, which allowed us to sleep in a bit. We also had pizza on Friday night and picked up things from the bakery on Saturday. the baked good were some of the best we’ve had. We loved our dog sledding as well- so much fun and incredibly lucky we got to go with Trine! What an experience! We wish we had booked another trip and also wished we had stayed longer. Huge perk as well was being able to visit the dogs throughout the day, even if not dog sledding. We will definitely be back. would recommend renting a car. taxis are very expensive and limited. It’s really easy to drive around and having a car gives you options to explore (like we did) things around the area.

Aera - Glass cabins features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Tromsø, 25 km from The Arctic Cathedral. It is a great location to see the Northern Lights. The cabins are clean, comfortable and warm. We enjoyed the dinner in lavvu. The meal was tasty. The staff was very friendly.

Set in Vardø in the Finnmark region, Varanger View offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The accommodation has a spa bath and a sauna. Excellent location with a very nice and helpful host. Apartment was very nice and modern with everything you need to have a good stay.

Segla Guesthouse - Lovely sea view has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Fjordgård. The lodge offers a terrace. Excellent location for hiking to Segla and Hesten as well as visiting other sites in Senja. We stayed for 3 nights and everything worked well. The place is super clean and spacious. the kitchen is well equipped. The hosts are friendly and helpful. We’d definitely stay here again if return to Senja.

Featuring mountain views, North Experience Basecamp in Melen features accommodation, free bikes, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a restaurant. Thomas and Annie were super helpful, kind and accommodating from start to finish. We booked the snowmobiling tour and they managed to delay our transport back to Tromso for an extra day so we could check into the igloo for the night. The igloo was amazing. Super cosy and beautiful views. The snowmobiling tour was so much fun and the guides took careful consideration to ensure our safety and give interesting facts about the valley. The food was delicious and breakfast is a must. We used the sauna on the last day which was truly spectacular. They give you gowns and shoes, provide water and heat up a private sauna for you. It was absolutely magical.
