OK, this is truly unbeatable location - truly the BEST! The owners are extremely helpful, friendly, charming and even with their limited knowledge of English, they always try to do their best. They picked us up at the train station when we arrived and picked us up from the city even late in the evening.

Arawe is a newly renovated 150-year old nature cottage located around 400m from the centre of Ella. Very nice location, outside area is the best. Food fresh prepared, nice decorated, very short tuktuk ride from ella center and main sights. Property can arrange all that and will wait for you at the station.

Featuring a garden and free WiFi, Arana Sri Lanka Eco Lodge and Yoga Center is situated in Ella, 3 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. Had and amazing stay! Just 2 nights but could have been a week. Just enough outside of downtown (a short walk or tuk tuk ride) to be peaceful and quiet but close enough to pop in for a meal, drink or a little bit of night life. The breakfast was perfect (great French press coffee) and my wife was able to take a yoga class each morning which she loved (she is a yoga teacher here in the US). The shower water pressure was great with plenty of hot water. The balcony off of the room was amazing with monkeys paying a visit in the morning. We slept well and didn't even use the fan provided. Will 100% be back to stay again. Thanks!

Situated 7 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge, Mount Wood Star features accommodation with a restaurant, a bar and a 24-hour front desk for your convenience. This was one of our best experience ever. This house is build by the owner, only from wood. You are completely surrounded by nature and you can hear the river. The breakfast is very good and the owner is extremly kind, he will help you with his tuk tuk for a lower price. I will recommend this acommodation to all of my friends who will come to Sri Lanka💛

Situated in Ella, 4.9 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge, Tantra Ella Lodge features accommodation with a terrace, free WiFi, room service, and a 24-hour front desk. Three things are outstanding about this accommodation: The accommodation itself, the host, and the location. The rooms are bright and newly furnished. My bed was very comfortable and I had everything I needed (from a hairdryer to a flashlight, everything was there). The terrace is outstanding. You can watch the birds from there. The location is very quiet yet central. The train station is just a few meters away. I enjoyed not being in the middle of the hustle and bustle and being in the center within a 5-minute walk. Last but not least - Angelo is an incredibly attentive host. He was always reachable and took care of all concerns (from 'a kettle would be great' to researching where I could get the best massage in Ella). Thank you, Angelo, it was a fantastic stay!

Wonderful Hotel in the middle of nature, right next to some great hiking paths. The excellent service as well as the amazing food, clean and beautiful room and careing personal make this place a location that we would definitely come back to and strongly recommend for everybody m, who wants a nice and quiet place, right outside of Ella.
