Good place to book quetzal watching tours - we saw many on our tour, also going for a coffee tour in coopedota is very good. Rooms are beautiful and so is the sorounding. Restaurant really good.

Trogon Lodge is located 1.5 km from San Gerardo de Dota town centre and 9 km from Los Quetzales National Park. It features an extensive garden, a terrace and BBQ facilities. Gorgeous sorroundings full of flowers and birds. The service is spectacular and the food is good. The rooms are comfortable and it’s just a beautiful and peaceful place to be. The quetzal tour was also very great value!

Featuring a deck for yoga lessons, a restaurant, and meals included with the rate, Macaw Lodge is located in Carará, within the Carará Nature Reserve. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Macaw lodge is such a magical place. Beautiful setting, horiculturally interesting, and part of an important wildlife corridor. We saw so many different birds and animals. The highlight was our birding tour with Hugo, who is very knowledgeable about the area. We also loved sitting in the main lodge watching birds gather around the small pond. The food was fabulous, much of it locally sourced. We especially loved the fresh squeezed juice at every meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The view from that place, the room itself, Esteban and family, the food - all of that was amazing. There is access to the river with a little patio where guests can enjoy a cool bath and the beautiful view from the valley. The way to get there is a little bumpy, but worth it (you pass a couple waterfalls). Esteban is incredibly helpful and will proudly show you the place and his hibiscus wine! creations. The room has a wonderful view and you get to see lots of birds (toucans, hummingbirds).

Boasting a garden and a bar, Cascada Elysiana is located 5 km down the road from Platanillo. International and local dishes are served at the in-house restaurant. Fabulous location in the mountains, not quite so hit as at sea level

Los Lagos Lodge ตั้งอยู่ในทำเลที่เดินทางไปภูเขา Cerro de la Muerte ได้ใน 17 กม. A beautiful, family run business in the heart of the Cloud Forest. Saw resplendent Querzals! Staff were wonderful. Going back for another stay on our way back to San Jose.
