You can see how much creativity and love for detail went into constructing all buildings and cabins at Danta Corcovado Lodge. I loved the way the cabins were built and especially the “outdoor” bathrooms (still full privacy guaranteed).

Gististaðurinn Kinkajoungalows - Amaya Family, Drake Bay, Osa Peninsula er staðsettur í nokkurra skrefa fjarlægð frá Rincon-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými, veitingastað, garð, verönd og bar. Sam and his family were really welcoming. We loved staying there. The bungalow was surrounded by nature and so close to the beach. The food was very nice too. Would highly recommend :-)

Four Monkeys Eco Lodge - Jungle & Beach er staðsett í Cabo Matapalo á Puntarenas-svæðinu og Tamales-strönd er í innan við 200 metra fjarlægð. I cannot recommend Four Monkeys more highly. It is an spectacular property, with all the animals you would hope to see in Corcovado on your front doorstep. The beach is stunning, I’ve never been on a beach where I didn’t see another soul except for monkeys, macaws, pelicans, crabs (and countless others). The tents were so comfortable - it feels like you’re sleeping in the heart of the jungle. But the most special part of the whole place has to be the hosts - Dario and Silvina. They made me feel so welcome and, Silvina in particular, really took care of me. I will absolutely be coming back and will tell everyone I meet who is planning to visit the Osa Peninsula to make sure they stay in this magical place.

Amazonita Ecolodge er staðsett í Dos Brazos, í hjarta frumskógarins, 16 km frá Puerto Jimenez. Ókeypis einkabílastæði eru í boði á staðnum. Allar gistieiningarnar eru með setusvæði. Our stay at Amazonita was nothing short of magical. The amazing Zulay accommodated our vegan diet. Even though we had a language barrier (sorry our Spanish was so bad) she made sure with the translate app that she knew what foods to avoid!! She made three amazing home made Costa Rican vegan meals for us!! Including vegetables and fruits that we did not know existed. She also recommended an amazing hikes for us. Thank you so much Zulay. We especially loved Jose and his amazing service. He helped us with our bags on the climb up to our lodge and literally anything else we needed. We already miss joyful and kind spirit so much!! Thank Jose for the beautiful jewellery! (from Carly with the purple hair) If you want to really experience the Costa Rican Jungle & the unbelievable Costa Rican hospitality, stay here. Still dreaming about how wonderful everything was. A few FYIs - there is no wifi or service but there is a wifi hot spot 30 minutes into the Bolita hike from the lodge - the directions we got in English I think were a bad translation. Here are better ones: Coming from Puerto Jimenez, drive towards La Palma. After the Rio Tigre Bridge, take the first left. There are signs here pointing to the lodging options. Keep driving this bumpy dirt road for a while. Eventually you reach Gallardo. In Gallardo, you will see a sign on your right for Corcovado National Park. Turn left at the road opposite this sign. (there is a road before this one with a sign on the right that says "Gallardo 300m" - do not turn down this road) After the left turn, follow this road until it ends. You will see a big sign for Amazonita Lodge at the end of the road. Turn RIGHT. Keep following this road, past the bridge, all the way to the end. You cannot drive any further and you will be at Amazonita! Definitely recommend 4x4 vehicle but we made it just fine with our 2-wheel drive car.

We were not expecting the beauty and serenity all around us. The paved paths to the main area were so beautifully maintained and landscaped! Our bungalow was secluded and very clean. The owners, Jutta and Alex were so gracious and we enjoyed meeting their family, as well. It had a very 'family' feel to it. The breakfasts were delicious and we chose to stay and buy our dinners there. We're so glad we did. This place is small and there was only one other couple there so it had a very intimate feel to it. My husband and I loved hiking all their trails and saw so many birds and monkeys there! Toucans, Scarlet Macaws, warblers, wrens, parrots, and more! The monkeys came through the forest every afternoon, making spectacles of themselves and added to the joy of our stay. Oh...and don't forget to take a cacao tour! This place is a cacao plantation!! (we brought some cacao nibs home with us and they're perfect for vanilla ice cream topping!)

Kalea Yard Hotel er staðsett í Puerto Jiménez og býður upp á útisundlaug. Ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði eru í boði í þessu suðræna smáhýsi. This was such a wonderful place to stay! The apartment was clean and smelled absolutely wonderful. The garden was a small paradise with lots of lizards and monkeys and birds in the trees. The pets (little fluffy dog Bruno and cat Gatita) really made our stay perfect for our kids! The owner was very sweet.

Þessi vistvæni gististaður er með sveitalegar innréttingar og er staðsettur í suðrænum skógi sem snýr að Kyrrahafinu. Boðið er upp á innifalinn morgunverð. Everything was just right! Such a gorgeous location & super friendly staff!! It was our second stay & we love being at La Leona & so close to Corcovado.
