Yatama Rainforest Ecolodge is located at the middle elevations of the Costarican rainforest, known as Horquetas de Sarapiqui. This rural community is full of activities and lush tropical gardens. This is a fantastic way to see wildlife in a remote jungle setting -- a former research station run by Pedro, a very knowledgeable and welcoming host. Pedro led us on a night hike and a day hike, where we saw monkeys, frogs, and a fantastic variety of birds.

Offering an indoor pool and a restaurant, Peace Lodge is located a 1-hour drive from San Jose in Vara Blanca. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. Staff was extremely kind, lovely people! I admired how imaginatively the bathroom was designed. The fireplace created an atmosphere that was inviting and cozy. The property It exceeded expectations! Breakfast, luch and dinner were excellent! Feeding animals were an incredible experience.

A really nice surprise. The hospitality of the owner and all the staff, the nice room, the great surroundings, a very nice breakfast and a really, really good dinner. With garden views, Selva Verde Lodge is situated in Sarapiquí and has a restaurant, a tour desk, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Hotel was exactly as described . An oasis in the rainforest. However what made our stay was the prompt help from staff when i twisted my ankle and they arranged for a doctor. There’s nothing more telling about a place than how they deal with things going wrong. So grateful for every they did .

This lodge is set in the Tirimbina Nature Reserve and 2 km from De la Virgen Park. It features free Wi-Fi, an extensive garden and a furnished terrace. The staff were great, restaurant prices reasonable (and the seafood rice delicious) and access to the reserve was amazing. We went three times a day and saw different things each time.

With garden views, Chilamate Rainforest Eco Retreat is situated in Puerto Viejo and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden and terrace. It was stunning. The rooms were more like apartments. The staff were wonderful. Dinner and breakfast were delicious.
