Rooms were charming, practical, and exceptionally well maintained. I would definitely recommend getting one of the second floor lodge rooms rather than first floor. You have to trade a queen bed for a sofa bed in the living area and you get beautiful high ceilings and more windows in return.

We LOVED Tunnel Mountain Resort! The entire staff was SO friendly! It is a short downhill walk into town, uphill walk returning to the resort. We were each given a free town shuttle ticket to/from town for our entire stay if we chose not to walk. The location was perfect, surrounded by trees and the beautiful Banff mountains. We used the steam room and sauna every evening. The kitchen had everything we needed to store our groceries and cook our meals. Free wood was available for the fireplace. We sat on the patio every morning drinking our coffee and watching the birds. Bed was so comfortable too! Tunnel Mountain Resort will be our home away from home when we visit the area again... we will definitely return!

The lodge offers a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with free toiletries, a hairdryer and bidet. Some units are air conditioned and include a terrace and/or a balcony, as well as a seating area. It's a nice little studio. Just in the picture it looks bigger, like it has more appliances in the room and there were more rooms, maybe I booked a different room that the property has, but it was great to stay it. Is nearby places to eat or hang.
