The 30-40 kangaroos that live in the area are also a real treat to see if you aren't from Australia. Always a few around the house or neighbors at any time.

Garden Studio ligt in Jaggan en biedt accommodatie met eigen kookgelegenheid, een patio en gratis WiFi. U kunt gebruikmaken van een volledig uitgeruste kitchenette. Absolutely beautiful home. Couldn't Rate it any better. Owners were incredible.

Deze accommodatie ligt in Cannonvale, op 9,8 km van Airlie Beach, en biedt een unieke ervaring in het wild in een rustige Australische bush omgeving. The wildlife in front of our cabin was fantastic. The caretakers were excellent. They provide us with a welcome goodies. This place is good for people who love wildlife and tranquility. The cabin was well supplied, including paper towels, salt, pepper, dish detergent and etc. Thanks to Bill and Tam to do extra miles.

It's definitely not your usual stay — instead of the common commodities think dinner by the fire (making both is especially satisfying outdoors), a shower and a bathtub in the jungle, beautiful territory with a creek, trails and lots of animals (we spent 2 mornings with flying foxes). And the bed in our Bower Hut was super comfy. Highly recommend this place as a couples retreat and a nice base to explore the Daintree area. Do note that there is no Wi-Fi in the outer huts, no power outlets and just a couple USB ports for your phones. But sometimes that's a good thing) P.S. Andy and Netty are very nice people, and you'll definitely meet them and their puddle Rufus when you walk to the reception for some Wi-Fi)

De Montville Ocean View Cottages liggen verspreid over 60 hectare en beschikken over een balkon met een prachtig uitzicht op de oceaan en het binnenland. The breakfast was excellent and can be easily cooked on the Weber BBQ on the deck. It was an idyllic spot and very peaceful with great views. The rainforest walk was challenging but excellent to have this as a private walk. The facilities are excellent and extremely comfortable. The privacy and quiet is only interrupted by the breeze and visiting Kookaburras.

Top bedden en badkamer. Alles heel schoon. Yoghurt and milk ready in the fridge. Great hosts. And our first kangeroos.
