Offering a flat-screen TV, each air-conditioned room provides a seating area with a work desk and coffee-making facilities at Lodge on the Desert Tucson. A small refrigerator and an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer and bathrobe are included.

Clean, comfortable and secure. Well appointed with an upmarket look and feel. The restaurant and bar were both good. Close to the city too - a short bus ride away.

Located 1 mile from Saguaro National Park, this guest lodge offers a western ranch experience with horse riding, hiking and fishing. All rooms include free Wi-Fi.

Rooms at the Tanque Verde Guest Ranch feature southwestern-style furnishings. Modern amenities include a microwave, a refrigerator, and a coffee maker. All rooms include a desk, ironing facilities, and a hair dryer in the en suite bathroom.

We loved the energy of the place. Super friendly staff, lots to do, food and drink all taken care of (we were all inclusive guests). Many facilities even open 24 hours. The room was very clean and comfortable with a great mattress. Nice that it is family friendly without feeling like it is aimed at children. I liked the fact that the tennis etc equipment is all there ready to use, so you don’t have to book a slot for this. The cowboy cookout was a lot of fun and a great way to bring people together. We had some really nice conversations with other guests. The food was great too.

Lovely private layout of rooms, beautifully landscaped and well maintained. It felt quiet and the King room with sofa was very comfortable and bathroom with double sink and very large shower nicely updated The restaurant affiliated with the Lodge had a wonderful dinner menu that was delicious and we enjoyed it with friends.

Location was terrific. Close to hiking at Catalina State Park. Grocery stores and restaurants were close. It is about 25 minutes to downtown Tucson and we attended the jazz festival one night. We liked the separation and peaceful Oro Valley area for lodging. Hope to be back next year.

This charming hacienda style place is a hidden diamond in the desert. Great value for a resort style facility that offers lots of amenities including a gorgeous pool and spa. It is conveniently located. It has a fabulous onsite restaurant. Although built in 1936, the entire facility is upgraded. Well maintained site. The rooms are clean and quiet. I would highly recommend Lodge on the Desert to any of my friends or family. We had a wonderful time and definitely will stay there again.

We stay at the Lodge every time we come home. We are Tucson natives and truly enjoy the food, beverage and ambiance of the Lodge. Starting off the day in the hot tub/pool then a fabulous breakfast —you can’t beat it. Wes knows exactly how I like a Manhattan. Why stay anywhere else. I hated to leave.

The desert gardens within the property were gorgeous and the historic rooms were very spacious and charming. We enjoyed the delicious continental breakfast at the restaurant each morning. The property felt very comfortable anytime of the day or night and was close to shopping, dining and the University. I would absolutely stay at Lodge on the Desert again.
