Cozy room, exactly what we expected. Nice that the lodge rooms are clumped in 4's so one shared entryway for 4 rooms, not just rooms along a long hallway or corridor. Made fore a more homey feeling! Wish I had brought my kids when they were younger so we could take advantage of the snow activities.

The breakfasts were awesome and yummy. We ate on lodge deck with sun shining on us and with the beautiful landscape areas it was wonderful. This was our 50th anniversary and Gail at front desk went out of her way to reserve a table for us at Swiss Landing(?) Food was indescribable!! Wished we could have just moved in there.

When you walk into Sunnyside lodge the view of Lake Tahoe is jaw dropping! There’s a large outdoor seating area right on the lake with service from the bar and restaurant. There are lovely beaches at the resort, and nice paved walking/biking trails that follow the lake shore.

The property was in a good location as there were many things in walking distance from the lodge. Next door there was a store that had coffee, pastries, sandwiches, flatbreads as well as other foods, drinks, beer, wine. They had it all! across the street there was a little breakfast place. At marina you could find rentals for water sports.

You can’t possibly beat the location of Sunnyside Lodge, right on the lake shore, with its own pontoon and seating area. The staff were very friendly and the whole place just had a lovely welcoming feel to it. Our bedroom had a balcony overlooking the lake and the view from the restaurant was amazing

The staff were friendly. The restaurant in the lodge is great and it's super convenient to have a perfect dinner after coming back exhausted from skiing. And the breakfast is really good (I'd never had such good breakfast in a hotel in US. I was forgetting how the hotel breakfast used to be in other part of the worlds tbh.)
