Econo Lodge Downtown Louisville rooms include a microwave and refrigerator. The rooms also are equipped with a coffee maker and cable TV.

Guests at the Downtown Econo Lodge, provides guests with a daily breakfast and all day coffee.

Econo Lodge is situated close to the center of Louisville, and in close vicinity to some important locations such as the Kentucky International Convention Center (5 minutes walking distance). The receptionists were welcoming & helpful. They even recommended attractions close by, which are worth visiting. The rooms were clean, spacious & the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean; however, the space was limited. Room amenities such as towels and soap were provided. The breakfast was alright, which included bagels, hot pancakes, bread, cereals, yogurt etc. The staff was friendly and the room service was good as well.

Econo Lodge staff worked tirelessly to accommodate us despite Booking.com's failure to communicate our reservations. Booking.com sent us confirmation, but reportedly did not inform the hotel. Thankfully, the front desk staff worked and worked to make our stay possible. We were grateful, as we had been on the road for hours and needed a restful night's sleep.

We don’t typically stay at Econo Lodge’s but a lot of hotels were already sold out when we looked for a place to stay for the Kentucky Derby. It was an Econo Lodge, not high end but I want to thank the owners for everything they did to make it a pleasant stay - from the Derby glasses and snacks to breakfast, taking our pics in the parking lot - you were wonderful and we greatly appreciate it!

Being an older property, it seemed to be well maintained and kept clean. There was however an issue with the payment. The issue is with Booking and not the Econo Lodge, they were happy to refund the original payment back to me. There was a double payment made for this reservation. I am still dealing with Booking to get my refund.

I liked the staff. I liked that my room was clean also. Being near the airport was nice, but the area was "sketchy" with homeless and questionable people lingering around the premise. Additionally, there was a gentleman outside screaming and banging on one of the windows of a nearby room, which was uncomfortable. He banged and screamed and then broke glass, which sounded like a window. Staff was alerted and assumably, someone responded. It is a very uncomfortable area in which to lodge.

Staff member Eerika was amazing. Stayed at Hilton and Hilton gardens previous nights. They had no cups/condiments in the room. Food left from previous guest in one fridge,Not enough towels, and never cleaned or exchanged towels. Econo lodge was hands down the best! We have family in ICU at Norton. Thank you! You have my utmost appreciation!

Didn't expect the $5 fee for parking but hey..the hotel was conveniently located to the event venue, it was super clean, and quiet. Staff was friendly and efficient. I slept late and missed the breakfast. I have another event near the end of the month and intend to use this Econolodge again.
