First off, I want to thank Jessica for her communication and kindness during our stay. She was very helpful! Secondly, I appreciate the property manager for answering the phone for us when we were trying to find the location when we first got here. I was frustrated and he assured that he would come get us from wherever we were to make sure we made it to the property ok. The room was very clean and lovely. We stayed in the beach front villa. It was beautiful night and day. As an American (because you know we love our A/C), I was very happy about the cold A/C they had in the room. It was never hot and this was appreciated as Zanzibar is hot and humid. We had a hiccup in regards to the breakfast in the room/at the pool. I originally planned to have it on a specific day but it did not show up on that day. I spoke with the staff and they served it to us the next morning. We also had a late check out and i was very thankful they let us stay in the room past check out time. We were able to enjoy our in-room breakfast because of this and did not feel rushed at all. Shower great. Bed great. Very spacious room. The amenities in the room were also nice. I read online somewhere that the hotels typically try to keep the beach locals away from the property to the best of their ability. I will say, be prepared to constantly be sold to when trying to relax on the property. All day long , there was constantly “beach boys” trying to sell you stuff. I appreciate the security guard on the beach keeping the other tourist away from our beach swings. So many of them walked up and he kindly asked them to leave. This was nice because I feel like there would have been a line had he not been there to do this. It made us feel special. They arranged an airport drop off for us and got us on our way in time.

Amazing place! And amazing host ! Ahmed is just perfect he is always doing his best to make sure everything is fine and even treating us to free barbecue! The place is super clean and cosy we all feel like a family ! The internet is super fast the best i have seen so far in Tanzania! The place is about 10 min walk from the beach which is good as you get to explore the local culture while enjoying a quiet stay! I will definitely come back I even extended my stay ! We stayed at Kibanda on two separate occasions on our recent trip to Zanzibar. We found the experience exception in all respects. The staff, led by Hamed and Francesca, were extremely welcoming and always had great advice. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the A/C (we visited during hot season) worked very well. The pool was great and -- perhaps a little surprisingly -- we found the food first-rate and reasonably price. While we were there, the breakfast was also modified to add brewed coffee, an omelette bar and other upgrades which made the experience even better. The location is excellent and about a two minute walk to Nungwi beach and its excellent restaurants. All in all, we felt we received excellent value and service for our money. HIghly recommeneded.

We loved everything about this lodge! We booked for 2 night but we extended our stay until the end of our holiday in Zanzibar! No word to describe how Nas and the team made us feel like home! Breakfast was delicious everyday something new and fresh fruit from the garden. Please if you are looking for a relaxing place full of good vibes make yourself a favor and stay here. The beautiful beach is located literally under your stylish room. We appreciate how the staff was so friendly and ready to help anytime. Definitely on our next trip to Zanzibar this is the only place where we are gonna stay. Thank you for making our holiday so special we'll never forget the experience. Well done!!
