The place was very cosy, beautiful and relaxing garden, rooms new spacious and very clean. You can feel how much care goes in the farm and guesthouse! The staff was lovely and very warm, and the food delicious. we really enjoyed our stay. It was the best surprise after days camping in the parks! We also bought some beautiful souvenirs sold at the farm, produced by the women in the community.

The property was exceptional with amazing landscaping, facilities and five star hospitality. The staff were warm and welcoming. I will not hesitate to recommend The Retreat to anyone who is visiting Karatu or Ngorongoro Crater.

extremely friendly staff, food was great. Rooms are basic with everything you need, and the hot shower was nice and welcome after a day in the dust of Ngorongoro. The set up was great for our family- one room with a king bed, and another with a double bed + single for the kids

As we stayed at Lake manyara Kilimamoja the day before where we had a bad experience over the food, we mentioned this to the staff and the chef and the full team offered us the possiblity for a private dinner in Boma! waw, what a superb experience... also the welcome animation, the music, the dancers, the room, .... everything was perfect! Thank you.... special remark for Neema who did everything to make our stay so pleasant!
