There are three good things: the staff (very friendly and helpful 10/10, location and food). Small lodges are old and have got bad acoustics (thin walls). Usually I avoid such places, but thanks to professional staff and very good food I can recommend to stay there during visiting the Jasper National Park.

This hotel had a warm and welcoming ambience with it’s lovely lodge style, spacious, wooden restaurant/communal areas, complete with pine trees and roaring fire. It was on the edge of the town where elk wandered past and yet an easy walk downtown. Beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom toiletries were natural and gorgeously fragranced. Good range of choices for breakfast and dinner. We would have like a longer stay.

It's a scenic spot and the elk hanging out on the road into the lodge grounds were cool. The mattresses were nicer than at the 2 star hotel we stayed the night before, but the rooms are still pretty small.
