S.F. Has become unbearable. It is a cesspool.
S.F. Has become unbearable. It is a cesspool. Literally a cesspool! It is fouled beyond belief. If you have nostalgic feelings of S.F. from your childhood my advice to you is to NEVER return! Unless you savor the aroma of fresh and stake human waste your cherished childhood memories will be forever tarnished should you decide to risk your own life to venture back to that God foresaken place!

Great.
Great. Go there for nice fotos of the city, the bay , Alcatraz, the seals and their noice. If you accept restaurants with "special prices" sometimes called something else , then go for it ( or not).

Be ready for crowds and a tourist spot.
Be ready for crowds and a tourist spot. That being said there are a lot of dining options for every budget, shopping is what you would expect. Take the time to walk around the area and get an Irish coffee!

Ideal location for Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 39. Hotel was fine, nothing fancy, but ok. Popular with flight crews. Good big reception area, and takeaway cafe facilities which was useful. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room is very new, clean and cozy. The location is safe and not so far walking to the Fisherman's wharf and Pier 39. Free parking on the hotel area. The facilities are good.
Hotel was better than expected. Ofcourse its a motel but we arrived at Midnight and got someone to help us out quick and friendly.elevator is rather small with luggage but at least there. We had a big nice bed and a minifridge to help us out for some cold drinks whenever we felt like it. Bathroom was fine. Location was perfect for us with public transport very close and if you feel like it, pier 39 van be walked
The hotel was well worth it. The location, close to China town and in walking distance to other attractions like Pier 39, was exactly what we needed. The room was basic but extremely clean and the staff was very friendly and super accommodating (we were able to check in already at 9am instead of 3pm and were offered a new room when our key card was not working properly).
Absolutely fantastic hotel ! Highly recommend for families. The list is endless, bright, clean rooms, free coffee/hot chocolate, fantastic games set up, unbelievable location !!! Right by Pier 39. Fantastic concierge is so helpful. It was the best hotel of our whole trip our kids didn't want to leave. Thankyou!
Nice hotel, excellent location. Reception staff very friendly, check in efficient. Complimentary bottled water. We actually were located in the car park building in what seems to be an annex but it is seamlessly done, literally connected together and we were close to the gym. Comfortable rooms, close to the railcar, pier 39 and a good central location. Felt safe at all times. Breakfast was fast and efficient but quite busy. Stayed 2 nights.
The location of this hotel is great, a short walk to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39. It's a very clean and comfortable hotel, the beds are so comfy! The staff are so lovely and attentive, and we loved that they had free laundry facilities. The restaurant doesn't have a restaurant bar which was totally fine for us but perhaps something to keep in mind when booking. Overall a great experience for your stay in San Fran.
The room was super quiet, spacious and very comfortable. A real haven from the bustle of the main city. The parking was really safe and well laid out so parking our large campervan was easy. The staff were really nice, helpful and friendly. The location is great close to the main cable cars lines and easy to get to Golden Gate Bridge, piers and Coit Tower. Definitely recommend walking to see the sealions at the left end of Pier 39. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Amazing apartment with lovely big rooms and bathrooms and a well set up kitchen.
Free coffee and fortune cookies in the lobby was great.
Location perfect for exploring San Francisco close to Pier 39, Fisherman’s Wharf and the Cable Car stops.
The hotel is right next to china town and within walking distance the piers (not pier 39 though, need the tram or car). So the location is really good. The room was very spacious.

What guests said about Pier 39:
There are so many different parts to the city, with quirky places best found on foot - from walking along Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39, to huffing and puffing up Hyde St to Lombard St for the view, then down the Crooked St, then round the streets of Chinatown with its unusual foods and cheap gift shops, down to Union Square expensive stores and restaurants - and of the course the famous cable cars, which you can get from Market Street

And why not try breakfast at Lefty O'Doul's in Geary Street, with lots of memorabilia around the walls about this famous baseball player, manager and coach - even if you've not heard of him (we hadn't!).

We caught a cable car to Fisherman's Wharf and had it to ourselves
Get up early (0700). We caught a cable car to Fisherman's Wharf and had it to ourselves. Most places not open but had breakfast at Denny's in the Holiday Inn. We hired a bike and cycled across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito and got the ferry back.
