Galata Tower
Medieval Galata Tower pierces the clouds above Istanbul’s skyline, a soaring structure to the north of the Golden Horn. A replacement for a previous tower destroyed in the crusades, this one was built by the Genoese in 1348. For hundreds of years, it was the tallest building in Istanbul – its highest balcony still has the best views of the city today.

The place has amazing vibes with the cafes surrounding the tower and the cobbled streets and all but the crowd is just crazy. Everyone wants a pic there for whatever reason and they are a painful hindrance to enjoying the place

It's good that they have installed a set of lifts to get to the top of the tower. So you are not walking up too many steps. Best to get there early or towards sunset to see spectacular views with the mosques and the sea across Istanbul.

Definitely a must.
Definitely a must. Go in the early evening as the night lights are awesome. Museum Pass is a must - this is one of the places you can visit with it. I bought a 5 day pass for 700 TL at Topkapi Palace.

I always thought that this is only a tower, you go up, see the landscape and that is all.
I was totally wrong because there is a very nice and interactive museum inside the tower. I highly recommend it.

Istanbul is the largest tourist city in Turkey, and it is the only city in the world in which you find all the vital facilities, such as Istiklal Street, Otakoy Corniche, the Bosphorus Strait, its wonderful view, and many recreational facilities and cultural landmarks in this beautiful city.

On the positive side, the location was excellent, as the hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the Galata Tower and about 10 minutes from the Galata Bridge, making it easy for guests to explore the city. If the quality of service and food is improved, the hotel would be an ideal place to stay in Istanbul
The hotel was lovely, very clean and comfortable .
The staff too kind . They all treated us as a family . The reception staff so helpful .
The location was perfect . Near Galata tower and Galata port , few minutes walking to karakoy tram station .
The view of the room was speechless specially at night .
I liked that the hotel is situated in the heart of Taskim square, roughly 15 mins walk to Galata tower, 5 mins from Taskim tunnel (bus station) to various touristy sites.
The hotel's location in the heart of Taksim Street was outstanding, providing convenient access to Taksim Meydan and Galata Tower. The staff, particularly Buşra and Mustapha, were very welcoming. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of options.
The location is just perfect near Galata tower. The team is really nice and they were really helpful with the entire process. We felt very very comfortable at the hotel. The team was helpful but not that helpful that it will make you feel ackward, I really get uncomfortable where the staff is too friendly, sometimes, indicating an expectation of a big tip. This wasn't the case here and the stay was really comfortable.
Hotel location is perfect near to Galata tower 2 minutes by walking and near to Sishane metro station around 4 minutes by walking too. Amazing staff.
I totally recommend this hotel and it is really good value for money.
The hotel's in a great spot! You can walk to lots of popular places like Taksim, Galata Tower, Eminonu, and more. Plus, the staff are really friendly and offer extra services like local tours and booking taxis to/from the airport. All that with an exceptional price compared to other hotels in the same area.
It was my third stay at this hotel and everything was as perfect as always. Super clean, the staff was very attentive, they spoke good English, it was warm, cozy and nice. I can say it is the best hotel in this category I have stayed in Istanbul so far and next time in the city for sure I will book again. The hotel is super close to Galata Tower and the metro station, which is a direct line to all the historical center. You cannot go wrong booking this hotel, I totally recommend it. :)
Very charming hotel in the core of Sultan Ahmet-Gülhane. They have a fantastic roof terrace restaurant (and a fantastic breakfast) with very dedicated staff. We saw the mist rising over January Istanbul suddenly revealing the Yeni Mosque, the Topkapi Palace, the Bosporus, the Galata Tower and the Golden Horn. There are many restaurants around for dinner, it is well connected to the tram (for local transport) and the Marmaris Rapid Transit trains.

We visited the Galata Tower at lunch time and enjoyed a great meal with a table at the window. Our soup and salad were good and the view and atmosphere were great. Much better than being crowded onto the narrow deck above.

And also good to try restaurants in Maiden or Galata Tower with perfect city view
Absolutely yes! Istanbul is open restaurant. In every corner you can find perfect meal. Good to try fish restaurant in Bosphorous, or in Çiçek Pasajı. And also good to try restaurants in Maiden or Galata Tower with perfect city view. What it can be better than that!
