Great to get a sense of the local culture.
Great to get a sense of the local culture. Fresh veggies, spices and fish downstairs and handicrafts and a cafe upstairs. We went on a Saturday morning and it was bustling with life. A good place to buy reasonably priced handicrafts and vanilla and spices.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and they included thoughtful touches like water, milk, and juice in the fridge. The location is ideal — a 10 minute walk to the ferry terminal, 10 minute walk to the bus terminal, and less than five minutes’ walk to Victoria Market, the post office, and the clock tower. The apartments are on a secure floor where you need a specific elevator code, so it felt very safe. I would definitely stay there again!
