Spend time walking and exploring the cafes and shops. The Ladakh Museum is a must go to place. The Ladakh palace - which is a taxi ride away, is also an amazing piece of history and views are exceptional. Do not miss.

And if you have your own water bottle, you don't need to buy any plastic water: the hotel has free filtered water on every floor. Location is a pleasant 5 minute walk from main bazaar and 15 minutes to bus station, which makes it accessible when travelling to the remote places by morning buses. ATM's at the hotel building work even if the ones in city centre don't. Value for money.

He stored our bags and helped with our laundry. When the guesthouse was full and we didn't have a room (our fault), Rigzin organised a taxi for us and another place to stay. The garden is beautiful, the room large and spacious. The bathroom was modern with a hot lovely shower. It's a nice and quiet spot and a 10min walk to main bazaar.

Breakfast is great tasty and filling. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Overall a quiet and a wonderful place if you looking for solitude. The best part is the farm / garden. They have raspberry, apple and apricot trees in the backyard. The owner was very kind and invited us to have all the different fruits as much as we would like.
