Visit the Café, also there are lots of toilets there.

Visit the Café, also there are lots of toilets there. Allow yourself at least half a day as some people hog areas which hold up the sequence of moving to allow others to see what they have already seen.

Excellent, the cafe was very busy due to the claim upstairs was being cleaned. This was untrue as staff were just stood in there talking. People downstairs were claiming tables before being served. This selfish act is unfair on single visitors and single people with a child that needs supervision

    I left Hull when I was 15.

I left Hull when I was 15. Now in my mid 70's I am going back to my roots. I have to be honest and say that I was less than impressed by The Deep. Looks like a museum that has been curated by committee. I look forward to a response from others that may see it differently.

Outstanding venue. Worthy of a revisit.

Outstanding venue. Worthy of a revisit. Plenty of things for people and kids of all ages. The main tank can be viewed from many locations but my advice is to avoid going up in the lift but taking the stairs as you can view the sharks, saw fish, turtles and rays at your leisure on your way to the cafe.

Very clean, and quiet location. Very close to old town and the deep which was great. Furnishings were all new and clean. Everything worked well. Manager was also responsive when I need assistance. A good choice. Be aware that hot water running through the heating system is noisy and so best not left on at night.

Location very convenient for visiting The Deep BUT extensive long-term roadworks around the hotel (until 2025) made it difficult to access. Spacious room with small balcony with pleasant view of marina. Friendly staff. Nice evening meal.
