Llandudno Pier

This Victorian pier has a warm, nostalgic charm to it. Whether it’s the retro joke shop, the friendly shopkeepers or the old-time architecture, a pit stop at Llandudno Pier is like taking a trip back in time. It’s a favorite starting and ending point for many walking routes, too.

Please look ip for seagulls when you are eating.

Please look ip for seagulls when you are eating. Everything looks good with the exception of the Kelly's Soft Serve Ice Creams, the only ice-cream shop @the Pier. They supposedly offer flavors like chocolate and strawberry that unfortunatelly I've tried and we'll, the chocolate flavor was beige and not brown and both flavors didn't have any of those flavors. Really poor quality and misselling the customers.

Nostalgic walk along a pier with something for everyone. It’s lovely to stroll along past the amusement arcade, rides for the children, kiosks and then relax in a cafe or bar to take in the amazing views.

Llandudno is a fabulous 'base camp' for North Wales.

Llandudno is a fabulous 'base camp' for North Wales. Conwy castle is just next to Llandudno and is an extremely beautiful iconic picture post card castle, including the UK's smallest house outside the castle walls giving an amusing and curious insight into life before housing standards, the last person to live in the tiny house was a 6ft3in fisherman who was ordered to leave due to the house being too small. An even more iconic castle, due to its tall thin turrets with stunning views of the Menai straights, is Caernarfon Castle, our daughter enjoyed horse riding across the Menai striaghts from Caernarfon with the mountains as the backdrop, at Angelsea Riding Centre. We also loved Bounce Below, educational to be in a slate mine and fun bouncing on its nets in the mine, to dance music. We would highly recommend Llandudno Cable Car for a fun ride and fantastic views. So the Llandudno Pier is really just one among so many more attractions that take the limelight. Certainly a surprising Victorian seaside town and pier is all part of the Victorian Llandudno vibe with outstanding medieval castles and magnificent mountains as the backdrop to the North Wales adventure and 21st centruy funtastic activities like Bouncing Below! We can't wait to go back!
