Beautiful. I enjoy all the castels of Scotland. Each has its own place in the history of the country. Each family or clan that built or inhabited these amazing places were determined to keep body and soul, as well and people and government in place during the time it was built.

The room was fine for a few nights, bathroom was adequate but lacking storage. All staff were helpful and friendly. Hotel is within walking distance to Blair Castle which is superb both inside and out. It's close to The Old Mill which serves delicious home bakes and light lunches. Only a short drive from Pitlochry which is well worth a visit and also the golf club which serves good food and has lovely views.

We enjoyed the spooky trains passing. 12 minute drive to Pitlochry. A few minutes walk into Blair Castle. Highly recommended. We arrived three hours later than anticipated due to a bad traffic accident and they kindly kept the cooks 10 minutes late so that we could have dinner. The hotel itself is lovely and stately. It’s a proper hunting manor with all kinds of stuffed beasts. The room was adorable and very comfortable. Very nice area to walk around in and easy walk to Blair Castle.
