The Yangjiajie scenic area have many third party companies...
The Yangjiajie scenic area have many third party companies trying to sell you tickets and tours for discount, that is quite annoying and makes it confusing. So better ignore them. The nature is beautiful, but the lay-out not always convenient. Not very clear which entrance, which bus or where to walk, most signs don't indicate distances...Better go to Tianmen mountain.

Yangjiajie was great!
Yangjiajie was great! The area is quite remote from the most popular ones, so i and my bf had an amazing hike to Tianbo Mansion (which took us around 1.30 hours one way from the bus stop). The hike is quite difficult - you climb through the very narrow areas, almost touching rocks with your body, go through the rocks, and in the end need to climb the steel steps to reach the top. It was quite dangerous (not that much), mostly AWESOME!
