We stayed at this lovely inn en route eastwards and wished we had stayed more than one night. Our room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. John was great to deal with, very pleasant and helpful. He recommended a local restaurant which was excellent. The breakfast was good: fresh fruit; cereal; yogurts; bakery items and eggs cooked to order. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

The inn is 8 minutes' drive from both Skywheel Myrtle Beach and Palace Theatre Myrtle Beach. Carolina Opry Theater is 8.7 km away, and Coastal Grand Mall is 10.2 km away from the Cabana Inn. The location had immediate access to the beach and beautiful views from our room balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offered tips for local attractions and restaurants. When our transportation was delayed they accommodated a late check out and ensured our luggage was cared for appropriately. The room was comfortable, clean and private. We enjoyed the pillows so much we purchased two of them.

Charleston City Market is 1 minutes' walk from the property. The staff, especially the consigner was fantastic, going out of her way to provide excellent ideas and places to go. The room , the bed, and the bath was great. I would recommend the Planters Inn the best we have stayed in.

Chambers Waterfront Park is a 5 minutes' walk from the Beaufort Inn. We were in a cottage rather than the old building. Absolutely beautiful room and facilities, lovely private balcony with rocking chairs. Outside communal areas with fire pits and sofas. Location perfect and breakfast vouchers for a fantastic diner across the road. Would love to return.
