Owners were friendly and helpful and interesting to hear some history of the house and the area. Highly recommend!

A beautifully renovated old building rich with history. The room was huge, with an extra place to relax and watch TV. The bedroom itself had two large beds that were spaced so far apart it was like an extra bedroom for our teenage son. Lovely soft carpet and all exceptionally clean. The breakfast was cooked on the spot by a very talented and sweet cook who whipped up a feast and kindly packed up the leftovers for us. The Innkeeper had a vast and deep knowledge of the place and was able to provide us with some interesting historical facts and local knowledge. It is clear that the hotel is a cherished and much-valued place and there aren't many places like this left. The town itself is a gem and we wish we could have stayed longer. And indeed we will stay here again!

The food in the restauarant was excellent with a good choice for both breakfast and dinner.

A little outdated but that wasn't a problem for me. The owner was very nice and polite. The hotel sit in a nice area and convenient to the local town. I was just down there for a night but from what I seen there were tons of local attractions to go to very close to the hotel. I will be back in town soon and I will stay again.
