Ollantaytambo
Offering rooms with impeccable rustic style décor and garden views, this inn just 30 km off Machu Picchu, features red-tiled terraced Spanish galleries and views of the surrounding scenery. Wi-Fi is free. It was a fantastic place to get over the altitude sickness of the first days in Cusco area. We arrived here right from the airport, could check in early and spent the full day lying in bed with the headache. But it really was the best place for it! They have a very nice restaurant right on site, and their light quinoa soup was the best to not be hungry but also not overload the system either. They also serve come coca leaves tea. So we could rest nicely and feel great the next morning, and catch the train to Machu Picchu - which was right there :) By the way, there was absolutely no noise in the room, and a beautiful view over a mountain.

Our room and bathroom were big with a TV (Netflix & YouTube). The bed was very comfortable and the hostel extremally clean. There was an issue with the cost of our washing but communication was easy and fast with the staff so it was resolved no problem!

Very friendly and confortable pension, we felt like at home. The small village of San Isidro, minutes from the fortress and historical Ollantantaybo has a lot of charm, perfect location to visit the area away from the crowd.
The dome was incredible just to sit and look at the stunning views of the sacred valley and stargaze, our room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast and dinner was so delicious and all organic, Virginia was incredibly helpful organizing our transportation, excursions, and being available to help with all of our needs. They took great care of us
Beautiful, had a garden, coffee roastery, and distillery. Friendly staff and the restaurant dinner was excellent.
This charming guest house is situated next to the river, just a short walk from the center. The rooms are clean, attractive, and among the prettiest we've seen compared to other guest houses in Peru. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast! Additionally, they offer baggage storage and laundry services. Good value for the money.
Owner was super friendly and helpful. He arranged a cab for us to go to the train station to go to Machu Picchu the next day and even was even up early in the morning to ensure the cab was there. We had dinner there when we arrived and he even gave us some snacks for breakfast for the following day since we were leaving to early to east breakfast there.
The location of Parwa Guest House is perfect - just a few minutes from the main square on the edge of the beautifully intact Incan village. It was a bit noisy on the street outside but that didn't matter as we were up early each day anyway. The staff couldn't have done enough for us, giving us a lovely restaurant recommendation and arranging an early breakfast and taxi back to Cusco. The breakfast was delicious (and I especially appreciated the tea with milk... !).
The Pisac Inn is a perfect location in the centre. I had a lovely, spacious room with 2 beds. Reliable running water can be tough to come by in Pisac but the shower was great in this hotel and comfy beds too! Really can't fault it, the staff were helpful and friendly...and helped me book taxis when I needed (which usually helps you get a fairer fare). Wonderful stay, super grateful to Pisac Inn for being a lovely base for my time there!
Our stay at the Pisac Inn was wonderful!! Location is perfect on the Square and so fun to sit on the porch for a drink and enjoy some people watching. The staff was friendly, professional and attentive!! The king size bed was amazing after a day of hiking and so comfortable! Breakfast was delicious and made to order. Special thanks to Roxner for her great communication and helping us with taxi, luggage and more. This hotel is a GEM in Pisac and we would highly recommend it!
Beautiful oasis in the sacred valley. Whole hotel felt so secluded and relaxed, with beautiful grounds. Rooms were large and cosy, with fireplaces and massive bathrooms. Breakfast was lovely each morning, dinner at the hotel was really top standard and staff were lovely. Plus all the profits go to supporting the school so you feel good for staying there!
