The local market across the street is actually mush bigger than the one tourists visit near the city center. Safe neighborhood and the historic center is walkable.

Eddy the owner was fantastic! The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with lush furniture & a lovely quiet balcony, 10-13 min walk from the main Plaza. Breakfast was always a treat for us in the morning & the walls were thick enough that we could sleep in a bit after long hikes the week before wore us down. The water pressure was good in the shower & the bed was firm but comfy. Staying here was the highlight of our Arequipa leg.

Their continental breakfast is delicious (coffee/tea, jam, fresh bread, avocado, egg). Their rooftop bar has delicious drinks and a happy hour. We were able to store our bags for our 3 day trek. Look no further in Cabanaconde

Such a comfy bed, we had the best sleep ever! Staff let us leave our luggage for the day before our night bus. Amazing shower & TV as well! If you want comfort for a good price this is it.
