The guesthouse is situated in a wonderful location, with breathtaking scenery. The room was big and clean. The garden was well attended. The owners were extremely helpful and highly contributed to making our stay even better. Also, the food is delicious and freshly cooked by the owner himself. We highly recommend it.

A traditional Viennese-style café in a 16th-century building in the pedestrian zone in the centre of Melk, Madar Café Restaurant zum Fürsten is only 500 metres from Melk Abbey. Clean rooms, friendly and attentive staff, the included breakfast was nice and tasty. We also ate our dinners there in the evening. The food was to our liking and the price was reasonable. Highly recommended!
