The George Inn is a 14th century inn and Plaine is a 16th century building located immediately opposite The George, situated in Norton Saint Philip. It has fantastic atmosphere. it feels like traveling back in time!! We loved the breakfast!!

Large rooms, nice bathroom, immaculately clean and well prepared. Very quiet at night for a good night's sleep. I took all my meals there - lunch, dinner and breakfast, all good. My friends tell me they serve excellent beer but I don't drink! Not difficult to find and plenty of parking. Good value.

Our room was very comfortable .Recently redecorated .Wonderful staff .Excellent chef producing 5 star meals at modest pricing.Undoubtably the best all round hotel accommodation I have stayed in in England . Will definitely return.

Boasting exclusively brewed beer, homemade food and a pub garden, The George Inn is located in Wells. 5 km from Wells Cathedral and 6 km from Wookey Hole Caves, the property features a terrace. We had a lovely stay - wonderful clean and comfortable accommodation. A delicious pub meal and yummy breakfast to top it off! Would definitely recommend.

Notley Arms Inn Exmoor National Park in Elworthy provides accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge, a restaurant and a bar. Free WiFi is available. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Our host, Simon, was very helpful and so interesting. He gave us tips on what to visit and the history of the area. And Chris behind the bar was great! The food was fantastic and they have a good wine selection. We found our room to be very comfortable
