Located just 1-mile from the M42 motorway, The Appleby Inn Hotel is set in rural Derbyshire in the village of Appleby Parva. Very clean with good food but I couldn't control the heating in the room

Originally a 17th-century farmhouse, this hotel sits on the edge of the Leicestershire countryside in the historic village of Kirby Muxloe. Have to congratulate Paul and Becca on the exceptional renovations. Very stylish and keeping the character of the property. My last stay was February 2020. But I do remember when it was a farm. Perfect location for me to visit family. All staff friendly and service above and beyond.

With freshly cooked food and a selection of real ales, The Star Inn dates back to the 18th century. The pub was beautiful, the rooms lovely and clean and well equipped and the staff really helpful.
