Breakfast excellent and a wonderful historic inn
great breakfast, great staff, historic inn in a beautiful setting!
was not expecting to find such a cute room, with a very classic pub decor. It was extremely clean and cozy to stay. After the pub closed it was very quiet and had a good night sleep. I would highly recommend this Inn, it was on the main street of battle and it gave me such rustic english country side vibes!!
We had a lovely stay, Martin was a great host. When we arrived Martin had already started the log fire so was all warm and cosy. The farm was a great location so tranquil, rustic and beautiful. Our little one loved feeding the sheep and chasing the chickens. We didn’t realise the facilities that were available tea, coffee, milk, snacks, kettle, microwave as didn’t say on the advert. We did go down to the local pub, the castle inn, great food! Wish we had stayed longer!
Historic Inn inside out plus modern comfort and friendliness.
Gorgeous old historic inn on the village green of a quintessential English village!
Beautiful historic inn. Well maintained. Good lighting in room and reasonably spacious. Friendly staff. Fresh fruit salad for breakfast.
Fantastic historic Inn, friendly welcome. Surprisingly large room for this type of" olde worlde" pub. Very comfortable. Location is great, right at the centre of the village, only ten minutes or so from the railway station. Castle and other pubs nearby. Bar areas are tremendous, huge fireplaces which must be great in the colder weather. All the public rooms are almost museum pieces, very atmospheric. Loved the place.
Great location, historic inn, very friendly and helpful staff.
